See all- HONEY DON'T! @Regal NorthwoodsRegal Northwoods Stadium 14, San Antonio, TX
Enjoy this star-studded detective comedy directed by Ethan Coen, who co-wrote the screenplay with Tricia Cooke. It is the second in a "lesbian B-movie trilogy" following Coen and Cooke's Drive-Away Dolls (2024). This film stars Margaret Qualley, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans and Charlie Day.
We'll be in auditorium 14, amd I'll be in seat E9.
We can meet and chat in the lobby outside the auditorium, 15 minutes before the preshow starts. Please check in with me to say hello, and so that we can keep an accurate head-count.
Since this is the second part of a trilogy, we'll be screening the first film, Drive-Away Dolls at Black Potion on the 17th of August at 6pm. You can get more info on that HERE

- Ladies Month Horror Double-Feature at The Black Potion!Black Potion San Antonio, San Antonio, TX, TX
Sunday, August 24th, Black Potion Movie Daze continues its Ladies Month series with a powerhouse double-feature of horror that breaks boundaries and shatters expectations!
6:00pm – Revenge (2017) – In this blistering debut from director Coralie Fargeat, a sun-soaked getaway erupts into a nightmare of blood, grit, and survival. Blending neon-slick style with unflinching ferocity, Revenge transforms a familiar setup into a savage, feminist firestorm that’s as thrilling as it is uncompromising.
8:00pm – Titane (2021) – Winner of the Cannes Palme d’Or, Julia Ducournau’s audacious shocker bends body, identity, and genre into something truly unforgettable. Hypnotic, visceral, and deeply human beneath its metallic sheen, Titane cements Ducournau as one of the boldest directors working today.
Both films are modern horror milestones: one a brutal rallying cry of survival, the other a fever dream of transformation and desire.
I'll be at the Black Potion (1901 Fredericksburg Rd) by 5:30pm setting things up for showtime and welcoming all attendees. Come grab a cold drink and a snack out front & join me back in the theater (past the bar, down the hall, second door on the right) before showtime!
Free parking is available in front and along the side of the theater, as well as in a big lot behind the store across Lynwood Ave.
As always, Black Potion Movie Daze screenings are FREE—so grab your friends & family and come join us! Hope to see you there!!
