About us
Do you play Soccer already but not getting enough passes from the team ? Or you lose the ball too easily? Or you never played soccer before but always wanted to try?
This meetup is suitable for complete beginners, people who haven't played since high school, and those with intermediate skills who want to play for fun without being too serious.
We want to play and develop our skills together in a fun, casual game for beginners especially but all levels are welcome.

Beginner/Intermediate soccer @ Tempe Reserve!
Tempe Recreation Reserve, Holbeach Ave, Tempe, NS, AULet's play beginner/intermediate casual soccer at Tempe Reserve; they have a variety of pitches and it's waiting for you to have a game there. Meet at the grass area next to the synthetic field - that isn't a comp game. There will be two games each around 40m wide. There's plenty of free carparking around, and it's also a ~15min walk from Wolli Creek Station.
Please note:
- We'll play from 3.30pm (earlier as it's post daylight saving). Sign up properly, don't come if only waitlisted, and arrive on time or not long after or you will have to wait before playing.
- This group is for beginner and intermediate levels only and we play respectfully. If you're advanced, this is not the group for you. Go find some other group to play with.
- Only come if well. Bring plenty of fluids, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat etc as appropriate.
- Spread out amongst the 2 games. DO NOT CROWD ON THE MAIN GAME. I shouldn't have to yell loudly every week about this one.
- Downtomeet and Meetup are the main sources of truth for my soccer events. We also spread the word on the Social Soccer in Southern Sydney and Banter Facebook page. No other groups or chats should be relied on.
- If you have a soccer ball and/or pump, bring them along to ensure that we start relatively soon after the advertised start time. Also bring along a dark shirt and white shirt (NO GREY / BROWN) for even teams.

BEGINNER SOCCER - Five Dock Park 10a.m.
Five dock park, Sydney, AUTimbrell has been closed for renovations and will remain closed for some time.
An announcement will be made one hour before the event if we have to cancel because of the weather.
You can also check the Canada Bay Council website to see if they have closed Five Dock Park.

This group is usually FREE to attend, we DO NOT charge an annual fee to play in our events.
However, every 6 months a $2 donation will be asked for help to pay for the subsrciption costs.
