Do you play Soccer already but not getting enough passes from the team ? Or you lose the ball too easily? Or you never played soccer before but always wanted to try?
This meetup is suitable for complete beginners, people who haven't played since high school, and those with intermediate skills who want to play for fun without being too serious.
We want to play and develop our skills together in a fun, casual game for beginners especially but all levels are welcome.

This group is usually FREE to attend, we DO NOT charge an annual fee to play in our events.
However, every 6 months a $2 donation will be asked for help to pay for the subsrciption costs.

Before doing anything else! Meetup is terrible and going down like a stone, so join both the Downtomeet Sydney Social group (https://www.downtomeet.com/Sydney-Social) and Social Soccer in Southern Sydney Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tempesoccer) so we can diversify sources.
Let's play beginner/intermediate casual soccer at Tempe Reserve; they have a great cork synthetic grass pitch and it's waiting for you to have a game there. Meet at the long benches around the halfway mark. There's plenty of free car-parking around, and it's also a ~15min walk from Wolli Creek Station. We'll have 1-2 games around 30-40m wide, on the right hand side (the left side game is not us).
If the synthetic field is not available due to comp teams bagsing it, meet at the left side of the synthetic field where it meets the grass fields. Then we'll see which of the grass fields can be used.
Please note:
- We'll play from 4pm no earlier, and see how it goes (hopefully it's not too hot). Sign up properly and arrive on time or not long after or you will have to wait before playing.
- This group is for beginner and intermediate levels only and we play respectfully. If you're advanced, this is not the group for you. Go find some other group to play with.
- Only come if well. Bring plenty of fluids, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat etc as appropriate.
- Downtomeet and Meetup are the sources of truth for my soccer events. While we also spread the word on the Social Soccer in Southern Sydney and Banter Facebook page, no other groups should be relied on.
- If you have a soccer ball and/or pump, bring them along to ensure that we start relatively soon after the advertised start time. Also bring along a dark shirt and white shirt (NO GREY NOR BROWN) for even teams.

We will have a game of min 5 max 11-a-side.
This game is suitable for beginners, players who have passed their peak, or just need to rebuild their fitness. Please bring a white AND black shirt. Failure to do so might meam you won’t play.Don’t add Guests - everyone needs to sign In for themselves for accountability. Any people with Guests will be removed from the “going” list.
If you cant make it be courteous enough to change your rsvp so someone else can join. If you don’t it is noted and failure to do so will end you up in the “not going” list next time you want to play.
Please check on Tuesday afternoon if are in the final attendee list.
**Please don't come if you are on the "Not going " list to avoid disappointment.
