Frodsham and Helsby (10 Miles, Moderately Easy)

Details
As a welcome change of scenery we're heading over to the other (darker) side of Cheshire, to experience the heights delights of Frodsham and Helsby.
Shorter than the usual Marauders' outing, but no less interesting or rewarding with some wonderfully varied scenery and more than a few undulations!
The Route
Meeting at the Castle Park Art Centre in Frodsham, we'll grab a quick brew before heading out passed St Laurence's Church and up to the Frodsham Hill War Memorial for expansive views out over the Mersey Estuary.
After popping into local sandstone caves for a nosy we'll trek through the fields and forests over to Helsby Quarry Nature Reserve and ascend Helsby Hill itself for another panoramic vista out towards Liverpool and the Wirral.
Then it's back to Frodsham for a drink and a natter at the Netherton Hall pub.
