“Melbourne Christian Singles 20s and 30s” is a social networking group in Melbourne area for Christian Singles in their 20s and 30s, regardless church denominations. We have members from all kinds of professions, such as doctors, nurses, lawyers, systems/business analysts, CPA, IT consultants, students, etc. If you want to meet new Christian singles and build friendships, or just hang out with like-minded people, this might be a group that you have been looking for.
Our social events include coffee, drinks, lunch, dinner, picnic, concert, museum, festival or dance, etc. We encourage our group members to
participate in social events,
organize social events,
respect and encourage one another in the love of Christ,
respect personal boundaries,
share any learning opportunities in your church or other organizations, or even the books or articles that you have read that might encourage others, and
start a topical discussion forum if appropriate.

Marital Status
This Meetup group is only for Christians who have never been married, have been divorced, or have become widows. If you are engaged to get married or you are separated from your spouse (but still legally married), your request to join this group will not be approved.
Membership Status
This is NOT an online dating site or match making service site, even though good relationships may come out of this group after we get to know each other through participating in social events. If you have no intention to participate in any of the events, you should not join this group. Members who are not active for three months will be removed.
Members' Conduct
We are all Christians. You are expected to behave respectfully, and with honesty and integrity. Different opinions and suggestions for improvement are welcome, but please use email in the individual's profile to communicate with one another if you have a concern or issue, instead of sending a comment to the whole group. I encourage offline conversations to resolve any issues. Personal attack or disrespectful behaviors will not be tolerated in this group. An individual will be given a warning. If such behavior continues, the individual will be removed from the group.

6. Meetings at Venues
6.1 Meetup Meetings.
Through our Platform we provide tools that enable our users to arrange physical meetings (a "Meetup Meeting" or Meetup Gathering) at venues that include, but are not limited to, public parks, private homes or private enterprises (such as coffee shops or retail stores). We do not supervise these Meetup Meetings and are not involved in any way with the actions of any individuals at these Meetup Meetings. As a result, we have no control over the identity or actions of the individuals who are present at these Meetup Meetings, and we request that our users exercise caution and good judgment when attending these Meetup Meetings.
6.2 Release.
Because we do not supervise or control the Meetup Group Meetings or interactions among or between members of Meetup Groups or Meetup Everywheres and other persons or companies, and because we are not involved in any way with physical transportation to or from Meetup Meetings or with the actions of any individuals at Meetup Meetings, and because we do not control Amazon.com, PayPal, credit card companies or other payment processing companies, and because we cannot guarantee the true identity, age, 3.3(b) (Meetup Everywhere Fees; New Meetup Everywhere Activation Fees), nationality of Platform users, and because we have very limited control, if any, over the quality, safety, morality, legality, truthfulness or accuracy of various aspects of the Platform you agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and third party partners) and Organizers and Creators or Hosts and their designees from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your Third Party Transactions, our resolution of any disputes among users, and/or your transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a Meetup Gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction (including without limitation the states of Missouri, Delaware and Pennsylvania) to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
