Light Painting Basics

Details
We will meet on the steps of the old Treasury house building and take a short walk to our location for the evening.
This is a Light Painting Basics meetup and hands on. Using our tools we will guide you through the techniques we use to create some of the basic light art images.
You will need to bring with you:
-
Camera that can shoot in BULB mode, or the ability to adjust your exposure length like the Olympus Live Composite mode.
-
Solid tripod. If you don't have a tripod please message us as we can bring one for you to borrow.
-
Remote shutter, wireless or tethered.
-
Small torch (to see your camera setting when needed)
-
Wide lens, I have used a 35mm, 24-70 and 14mm and all have been fine.
You also need to know how to adjust your settings on your camera. You don't need to be a whizz at it, just know how to navigate your way about.
We do carry an extra tripod and torches if needed
