The first draft is a monthly storytelling, open mic, devoted to courage, creativity, and connection. This is a gathering place for writers, storytellers, poets, and reflectors.
The stage is for people to share their story. To step on stage and share their thoughtful reflections, heartfelt poetry, or a glimpse into their life and writing.
Whether your story is polished or still finding a shape. This grassroots event is for people who want to grow, be inspired, find community, and be challenged in their craft.
As an audience member, your work is to cultivate your craft of listening- to practice seeking to understand and to be apart of something meaningful.
