Welcome to Mix and Mingle Walks! This walking group will offer over 50 different walking trailers in all parts of Toronto. We are a walking group that is more on the leisure side as we don't walk to slow or too fast. We are open to anyone that loves to walk, that wants to walk more and to get more exercise. This group is for those that want to meet other members as they are walking. I hope by the event of the walk, you have met a new friends or something more. We also respect people's wishes, we never reach out to any members that we have not met or have not asked to be reaches to.
This group is open to everyone and anyone on Meetup.
Toronto has many different trails ravines, City neighborhood, parks, walking paths and hiking trails. We will be one of the busiest and diverse walking group on Meetup. Toronto is one of the greenest cities in the world. We are a friendly and easy going group that believes everyone will be treated with respect. All events we be transit accessible.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be on Olympic Island which is kind of close to the ferry terminal on Toronto Island. If you are late or not able to join us for the ferry ride, you will have to get the next ferry at 6:15pm. When you get off you will walk on the right side path which is where you will see WHITE TENTS where people are waiting to get on the ferry. At the end of those tents you will see a small bridge that you must cross over. Fellow the path but we will be at the water and by this time the fire will start, so you should be able to see it. However, I may not able to feel you find the fire pit as I will supporting the event.

# Taylor-Massey Creek & Don River Walk + Ice Cream 🌳🍦
Taylor-Massey Creek is a tributary of the Don River, winding its way through Scarborough and East York before meeting the Don. Named after two prominent Toronto families, the Taylors were well-known for owning and operating the historic Don Valley Brick Works.
This walk takes us along the scenic Taylor-Massey Creek Trail, through the Don Valley, and ends with a challenging hill climb before rewarding ourselves with ice cream at Dairy Queen. If ice cream isn’t your thing, you can continue with the group toward Broadview Station.

Start Location: Outside the main entrance of Victoria Park Station (on Victoria Park Road). Look for me in my Moose Hat 🦌.
End Point: Near Broadview Station (we will not be returning to Victoria Park).

🚶♂️ York Beltline Trail Walk + Pub Lunch
The York Beltline Trail is the first of three sections of the scenic Beltline Trail, stretching 9 km from Eglinton & Caledonia to the Moore Park Ravine at Bayview Avenue. This peaceful urban path follows the route of the historic Belt Line Railway, built in 1892 to connect Toronto’s growing northern neighbourhoods. Today, it’s a leafy escape from city streets, perfect for a weekend stroll.
📍 Meetup Location: Southwest corner of Eglinton & Caledonia (near Shoppers Drug Mart) — look for the person in the Moose Hat!
🕚 Meetup Time: 11:00 AM (I only wait 5 minutes — early is on time, on time is late!)
🏁 End Point: Near Yonge & Davisville — we will not return to the starting location.

This is one of our hidden trails in the heart of Toronto! 🏙️✨ Not only do we get to stroll along the peaceful Wilket Creek 💧, but we’ll also enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by flowers 🌺 at Edwards Gardens. After, we’ll make our way along the charming Leaside Spur Trail 🚶♀️🚶♂️.
At the end (back where we started), those who want to keep the day going can join us for lunch at Jersey Mike’s 🥪.📍 Meetup Location: Outside McDonald’s 🍔 (look for me in my Moose Hat 🦌)
