🚶‍♂️ York Beltline Trail Walk + Pub Lunch
The York Beltline Trail is the first of three sections of the scenic Beltline Trail, stretching 9 km from Eglinton & Caledonia to the Moore Park Ravine at Bayview Avenue. This peaceful urban path follows the route of the historic Belt Line Railway, built in 1892 to connect Toronto’s growing northern neighbourhoods. Today, it’s a leafy escape from city streets, perfect for a weekend stroll.
📍 Meetup Location: Southwest corner of Eglinton & Caledonia (near Shoppers Drug Mart) — look for the person in the Moose Hat!
🕚 Meetup Time: 11:00 AM (I only wait 5 minutes — early is on time, on time is late!)
🏁 End Point: Near Yonge & Davisville — we will not return to the starting location.
💲 Meetup Fee: $5 (cash in person or e-transfer to **mathewmaclean@hotmail.com**)
🍽 Optional Post-Walk Brunch:
After our walk, join us at The Bull: A Firkin Pub for a classic pub-style lunch — a great chance to relax, warm up, and connect with fellow walkers.
