Trip Snips--Voyageurs Nat'l Park/International Falls, NW Arkansas & SW Colorado

Our recent Presentations Survey revealed strong interest in hearing about adventures taking place over a weekend or few days, or those that simply don’t need an hour to share the information and delight of one's travels. In response, the Presentations Committee is piloting a new format--we'll call them "Trip Snips"--three 15-minute presentations that aim to give you an enticing sample of the adventures at hand.

Voyageurs National Park and International Falls
Voyageurs National Park is known as a park best experienced from the water, but there is also fun to be had on land in the Voyageurs/International Falls area!

Sampling NW Arkansas by Bike, Foot & Paddle
A (long) day’s drive gives you access to multiple outdoor opportunities in this rugged, picturesque landscape.

Backpacking Southwest Colorado—Telluride to Ouray Hut to Hut
A 5-day, 34-mile high altitude traverse of the north slope of the Sneffels Range offers remoteness, varied scenery, and utilizes hut overnights to lower gear and food weights on trail.
