PVSP - Orange Grove area, 6-7 miles T*H*U*R*S*D*A*Y with Hiker-Biker bar lunch.

We haven't done this hike since April The total distance will be about 6-7 miles (2 - 2.5 mph walking speed with at least one snack break) and about 700 ft of elevation gain/loss. Stream crossings are modest. Expect some grassy sections.

If you haven't completed a hike with this level of difficulty recently, please sign up for a different hike. Want something easier or more demanding? Our mother group, The Mountain Club of Maryland, offers several hikes of varying intensity each week (https://www.mcomd.org/).

I'm going to be using Komoot instead of Alltrails to guide us so be prepared for some glitches.

We'll be close to Daniel's in Elkridge for lunch. Past hikers give Daniel's high marks for good food and reasonable prices but if you want fancy, well, it's a hiker/biker bar.

There is a modest fee to enter the park so bring your pass if you have one. And plenty of water!! There is no water in the park (other than the river and you don't want to drink that).
