About us
Soul Rewilding leads a range of walks and events in and around London, designed to help people reconnect with the beauty, depth, and sacredness of the natural world. These experiences take place in stunning natural settings and can also be offered as tailored sessions for community groups.
Walking with Trees
An immersive walk exploring the biology, mythology, practical uses, and spiritual significance of native trees.
Dawn Chorus Vigil
An opportunity to experience the beauty and mystery of the spring dawn chorus, as birdsong welcomes the new day.
Campfire Stories of Myth and Mystery
A two-hour gathering around a roaring fire pit. Wrapped in blankets, with warm food and drink, we listen to ancient, soul-healing stories that speak of life’s mysteries and sacred nature.
A Meditative Walk on the Life of the Earth
An embodied, 3 hour deep-time meditative walk exploring the key moments, meaning, and spirituality of our 4.5-billion-year-old mother earth.
Participant feedback:
“This was a really beautiful and intellectually and spiritually nourishing experience. Listening to the birds in a secluded area of the common by some old trees under Mike’s expert guidance was magical and other worldly. This is the second nature exploration I have done with Mike (Ashtead common trees was the last one) and this has been just as great. Mike was a fantastic guide - he was full of fun and interesting facts and his enthusiasm for nature really inspired me. I can’t wait to join him on his next nature foray.." Eloise

A meditative walk on the life of the earth
Location not specified yetSunday 25 October | 2–4pm
Followed by Tea, coffee & conversation | 4–5pm
Woodfield Pavilion, 16A Abbotswood Road, Tooting Common, London SW16 1APWhat if we could experience the whole 4.6-billion-year story
of the Earth in a single afternoon?Join Soul Rewilding for an interactive journey through deep time – from the fiery birth of our planet and the first oceans, through the extraordinary emergence of life, plants and animals, to the very recent arrival of our own species.
Along the way we’ll pause, reflect and experience something of the wonder of the Earth’s story through science, poetry, different spiritual traditions, conversation, simple ritual and encounters with the natural world.
This isn’t a lecture. It’s an invitation to slow down and step out of the frantic timescale of everyday life – the emails, headlines, deadlines and social media – and enter the vastly deeper rhythms of the living Earth.
There will be opportunities for quiet reflection and conversation, moments of playfulness and wonder, and time simply to notice and reconnect with the more-than-human world around us.
At a time when it is easy to feel overwhelmed by what is happening to the natural world, this afternoon is also about hope. Deep time reminds us that we belong to an astonishing, resilient, creative living planet – and that our own story is still being written.
Afterwards, please stay for tea, coffee and conversation from 4–5pm, and the chance to meet others interested in nature, spirituality and living more deeply connected lives.
