Morning Hike on the Massabesic Audubon trails to Battery Point with J Paul

Let’s take advantage of the nice weather by meeting at the Massabesic Audubon Center in Auburn, NH, and hiking out to Battery Point on beautiful Massabesic Lake. Total round-trip distance is about 5 miles. Elevation Gain is negligible, we will be mostly hiking on wide flat trails through the woods and along the lake shore.
For anyone who is interested, we can meet after the hike at the nearby Goldenrod drive-in restaurant for lunch and/or ice cream.
The Massabesic Audubon Center opens at 11:00 AM, so bathrooms will be available there at the end of the hike, but not at the beginning. The closest bathrooms available before the hike are at the lakeshore park near the Massabesic traffic circle.
Bring water and a snack. We’ll start hiking from the Audubon Center parking lot at 9:30 AM, so please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.
