We have so much talent in the HOME community and so many new people joining. This is your chance to get connected!
What have you been working on? Bring whatever you've got and share it in a laid-back and friendly setting. It's a casual, come-as-you-are space where everyone is welcome. Share your music, talk about your process, and discover new collaborators.
If you lean more to the industry side of things, share some music from the artists that you represent. We'd love to hear what you're working with! If you would like to share, please have a link ready because we cannot stream files - links only. Or if you just want to say something or show off your studio, that is fine too!
This event will be led by HOME's A&R Team, a specially skilled committee who select Homies to participate in collaborative writing sessions and make music that is valuable for sync licensing.
Please join this event HERE. Due to protective measures, we've moved these meetups into our HOME community app. Once you click through to join us, you'll be asked to create your FREE Account in the HOME App to join the hang! See you soon!
Here's a little bit about this week's host and HOME A&R Coordinator:
Pal Sheldon is the founder of Artec Sync, a company that showcases a hand-selected, diverse catalog of songs curated from a global team of artists and writers. Each song is individually chosen, and Artec's in-house writers and producers also create custom music for briefs.
Recent sync placements include: Grownish on Hulu/Disney, Ruby and the Well on BYUtv, and two songs in Anora - an indie film and Palme d’Or Winner at Cannes 2024.
Pal is known for building strong relationships with artists and music supervisors, driven by the belief that a great song will always find its place to shine. Artec actively seeks new songs to represent, welcoming submissions from artists worldwide.
Join us for Meet My Music to connect with HOME’s A&R Team and add new collaborators to your network.

You tell yourself you’ll release it when it’s ready.
...When the mix hits just right.
...When the vocals sound the way they do in your head.
...When the visuals are tighter. The brand is clearer. The timing is better. But perfect never shows up. And the work just sits there.
This month’s Music Creator Mental Health Support Group is about the perfection loop - how it starts, how it keeps us stuck, and how to break free without sacrificing your standards or your vision.
We’re diving into:
- Why musicians are especially vulnerable to perfectionism
- How it masks fear, imposter syndrome, and the need for control
- Why “waiting until it’s ready” can become a creative cage
- How to create and release with more freedom and less fear
This is not therapy. This is real talk for music creators who are tired of holding themselves hostage to impossible standards.
Whether you’ve got a hard drive full of unreleased tracks, or you’re constantly tweaking that one project that never feels “done,” you’re not alone.
No pressure to speak. You can just come, listen, and exhale.
This is your invitation to stop hiding behind perfect and start creating from something more real.

- Music Creator Mental Health Support GroupHOME - Helping Our Music Evolve, Nashville, TN
As creators, we juggle a lot...the writing, the recording, the mixes, the visuals, the rollout, the social content, the brand. It all matters, but sometimes the way we prioritize those tasks is less about progress and more about protection.
It’s easier to keep “working on it” than to face the risk of releasing it.
This month’s group is about looking honestly at what gets our time and energy. Are we staying busy with tweaks, plans, and strategies as a way to feel safe? Are we delaying the part that actually connects us - sharing the work?
In this group, we’ll reflect on:
- How creators get stuck in process, whether that’s art, promotion, or business grind
- Why it can feel safer to keep prioritizing “what’s next” over “what’s now”
- What it costs us when release and connection never reach the top of the list
- How we can support each other in shifting focus toward impact and visibility
This support group is a confidential, come-as-you-are space for music creators to talk about the pressures we carry, listen if that’s what we need, and find solidarity with others who understand.
This session is offered free to the public thanks to HOME – Helping Our Music Evolve and the Helping Music Foundation. If you’re able, consider making a donation to help keep these gatherings available to the creators who rely on them.
