Princeton Eats Plants: Heart-Healthy Valentine's Day Community Potluck
Details
Join us on Wednesday, February 4, for our Princeton Eats Plants monthly potluck, beginning at 6:00 PM. Please bring a heart-healthy, whole food, plant-based dish to share (no animal products and reduce or eliminate added oils, salt or sugars) or simply bring fruit.
As a community built on growing relationships, we’re delighted to welcome Drs. Alona Pulde and Matthew Lederman, physicians many may recognize from the film Forks Over Knives. Now based in Princeton, they will offer a talk on their initiative, Connection Medicine, and how our relationships, sense of purpose, and nutrition work together to support well-being.
Come for the food, stay for the conversation, and leave inspired by practical insights you can bring into everyday life. All are welcome -- whether you are a long-time plant-based eater or are new to the community.
Kindly bring your own serving spoons, plates, utensils, and water bottles as well as a mug or bowl for soup. We will be glad to furnish these items if you forget, but providing your own items saves our volunteers a tremendous amount of time, giving them more time to answer your questions and socialize with participants.
Lending Library
We have a member-sponsored Lending Library. Feel free to browse and borrow from our collection of plant-based books and DVDs, and donate a plant-based cookbook if you would like!
