From Understanding to Awe: Sacredness, Reverence, and Trembling

In a time when spirituality is often reduced to ideas, practices, and personal breakthroughs, something essential has quietly faded - the sense of sacred trembling before the Infinite. We speak freely of consciousness, presence, and awakening, But not of wonder, reverence, or the humbling recognition that what we seek is immeasurably greater than us.
This meeting is not about adding to our understanding. It is about softening before the Mystery that no understanding can contain.
We often hear confident claims, “I had a no-self experience,” “Everything is consciousness,” “I am already That.”
The great mystics spoke another language entirely. It was not of attainment, but undoing.
Modern: “There is no Self.”
Kabir: “I was taken. I died. I do not exist.”
Modern: “Everything is consciousness.”
Meera: “This Love burned me to ash.”
Modern: “There is no seeker, no path.”
Rumi: “I knocked. the door opened. I vanished.”
Modern: “I am That.”
Meister Eckhart: “Only That is. I am nothing.”
This gathering is not to define True Nature or to trade experiences. It is a quiet return to awe - a space to let the mind remember its own smallness before the heart, to rediscover the dignity of not-knowing, and to feel again the living Mystery that humbles every word.

We meet not to analyse the path, but to stand where words fall away and only wonder remains. Whether you are new to nonduality or have been practising for some time, your presence and insights are welcome. No beliefs or background needed. Just a willingness to share, reflect, and rest as what is already here.
