About us
What is non-duality ?
Non-duality is the experiential realisation that there is no fundamental separation between anything.
What is this group about, and who can join it?
This group is open to everyone interested in non-duality, and to those who are already familiar with it. The meetings should be open, honest and friendly. There is no teacher or guru, only friends who want to share in truth. The only requirement is an interest in the topic and an open mind.
The group is non-dogmatic and not associated to one particular teacher, although we all have our preferences. Additionally, non-duality is not a self-help method, or a way to resolve psychological problems.
How do the meetings work?
The meetings are open discussions that sometimes start with a short presentation.
You can also join our group on Facebook for online discussions:

The Paradox of Spiritual Seeking
The Genki Centre, 1 Arundel St, Glebe, AU## Meetup Topic: The Paradox of Spiritual Seeking
Many spiritual traditions encourage practice while also warning that the very desire for liberation can become another form of attachment. How do we practice awakening without turning it into a personal achievement or a heroic project of the ego?
In this meetup, we will explore the paradox of seeking through the lenses of Zen, Advaita, and other traditions. Together, we'll inquire into what authentic practice might look like when nothing needs to be acquired, yet practice continues.
No prior knowledge is required. The emphasis will be on direct experience, inquiry, and open dialogue.### Agenda
1:00 pm – 1:10 pm — Welcome, introductions, and opening meditation
1:10 pm – 1:55 pm — Session 1: Why do we seek? Is liberation something to attain, or is the search itself part of the illusion?
1:55 pm – 2:05 pm — Tea break
2:05 pm – 2:15 pm — Silent meditation and inquiry
2:15 pm – 2:55 pm — Session 2: Will, Grace, and authentic practice. If there is nothing to become, what does practice mean?
