Pigeon Point Lighthouse (2 nights)

We have a three day bike tour to Pigeon Point lighthouse (near Half Moon Bay) over the Presidents Day weekend.

We'll start from Redwood City Caltrain and ride over the Santa Cruz mountains to the ocean at Pigeon Point.

We'll stay for two nights at the hostel at Pigeon Point.

1. The trip is only a few weeks away, so please reserve a space ASAP, spaces are very limited. CALL THEM at 650 879 0633 if beds are unavailable as the online availability does not match what's actually available (confirmed on the phone on 1/27).

If all the beds at the hostel are sold-out, you could reserve a spot at Costanoa 4.5 miles south. They have tent and bungalow sites with a plethora of amenities.

It's around a 40 mile ride to the coast from Redwood City - via King Mountain Road and Tunitas Creek Road.

It's a great area to visit. I'm looking forward to:

• Stopping in at "The Bike Hut", on Tunitas creek.
• Listening to a band at San Gregorio Store (and maybe getting their famous Bloody Mary).
• Hanging at the beach at Pigeon Point.

We'll also be close to Ano Nuevo SP. It's Elephant Seal season, so that's an option for anyone who wants to do a short ride down Hwy 1 on Sunday.

Butano State Park is close by for hiking. They have beautiful hikes, in the redwood forest.

Downtown Pescadero is also worth a visit.

This stretch of Highway one, between Half Moon Bay and Davenport, is a great place to visit. Hope you can join us.
