WHITE LAKE LOOP HIKE ….POSTPONED FOR LACK OF INTEREST
Details
This area has been hiked a year or so ago by Devon but I will be starting this in a different direction and trail. It will take a good 3 hours, 8.1 kms1522 ft elevation and I would considerate it as moderate.
It is a journey through one of Canada’s most endangered ecosystems. The terrain features dirt paths and rocky outcrops, remnants of old fur brigade and early European settlers. Parking is at pullout off of Fairview/White Lake Rd.
Bring a hat for shade as the return is mostly in the sun, passing by the Radio Astrophysical Laboratory. Lots of water and bug spray at this time of year. See All Trails for the route.
Also pack a lunch in a cooler and leave in your car. We will go to Noble Ridge Winery post hike where they have a fairly large picnic area with a beautiful view. See photo posted.
