With the rise of AI search, a new category of SEO tools has emerged, but most of the noise around them is marketing, not education. This session cuts through the hype with a frank breakdown of how AI search tooling actually works, the limitations, what metrics matter, and how to think about measuring for AI search. Drawing from real experience building Hall (an AI search analysis platform), he'll cover how these tools monitor AI platforms, the fundamental differences from traditional search, and what the data can and can't tell you.

Kai Forsyth is the founder of Hall, a platform helping companies leverage conversational AI platforms as channels for growth. Based in Sydney, he previously led growth at Dovetail, where he focused on organic acquisition.
