Wissahickon Fast Paced Hike; Approx 7 miles

** 6:15pm SHARP starting departure**

Did you look at your calendar and realize that on Sept 17 there wasn't a regular hike with Ed? We've solved that. We're going to bounce through the Wiss for around 7 miles with about 1000 feet of elevation. Average pace expected about 3.4-3.6 mph.

We do our best to stick together and look out for one another. But if you are struggling, you will need to find your way back to car. Best to have a buddy if you are unsure. It's also getting darker, so bring a flashlight.

Gear required: hiking footwear as there will be plenty of rocks and roots. Water or other source of hydration. Bring a headlamp.

PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will meet at the corner of West Willow Grove Ave and Cherokee St, near the Wissahickon Skating Club. (see Meetup location Pin). Please park on the street.
