Cushetunk Trail @ Round Valley Reservoir (@ 12 miles) (NOT for beginners)

NOT slow, NOT easy. Please only join us if you can maintain a solid 3+mph pace including the hills.

This is one of my personal favorites in the region. 12 miles with about 2k ft elevation gain.

Bring plenty of water and snacks and a lunch for the halfway point.

On the return with 2 miles to go is a 500ft hill elevation gain..fun way to finish the day. This is basically an out-and-back with the return going along the campground road.

Dogs are permitted but must remain on a static length leash at all times. This is non-negotiable on my hikes.

You are solely responsible for your own safety at all times.

This region is known for having black bears along with plenty of other critters so please be prepared and diligent about your surroundings.
