SAT Werribee Gorge Circuit Walk

SATURDAY 7TH FEB 9AM START
Due to large number on waiting list for Sundays walk. Ive decided to run another on Sat . if you are accepted on Sat and have rsvpd for Sunday, please change rsvp to not going.
Werribee Gorge Circuit is an 8.5km, grade 3 circuit hike, located in Werribee Gorge State Park, Victoria. The hike should take approximately 3 hrs to complete.There are a few technical areas requiring some scrambling and a short cliff section with cables but they are not too difficult to manoevre. There are a few steep uphill sections and the surface can be uneven. Hiking Boots or Trail runners with good grip essential.

Ill book a table at The Border Inn Bacchus Marsh afterwards. Mention in the comments if youd like to attend for lunch.

Meet at the Quarry picnic area carpark at 8.45am for 9am start

There are a couple of great swimming holes on the trail . Depending of weather conditions there may be an opportunity for a swim when we have a break for morning tea. . I will advise closer to the time .
