About us
We meet once a month or so to enjoy an 8-10km bushwalk , visiting some of Victoria's stunning National and State Parks. Afterwards ,we retreat to a local pub for a parmy and pint . Open to all keen social bushwalkers. Ideal age group 40+
Our events tend to fill quickly. Its worth waitlisting , it nearly always clears before the event.

However, the organiser will not accept any liability for any injury or accidents to participants. Participants should take care, wear suitable clothing and footwear, maintain their equipment, and act appropriately in their surroundings. It is expected that you are responsible for your own safety. By rsvp’ing to this event you indicate acceptance of these terms. It is very strongly recommended that everyone has ambulance cover, as even an ankle injury could lead to costly evacuation.

Green Bush / Two Bays Walking Track/ Baldry Circuit
Baldry Crossing Picnic Area, Baldrys Road, Main Ridge, AUThe aprox 14km Greens Bush section of the Two Bays Walking Track is a moderate 300 mtr gain stretch through the Mornington Peninsula’s largest fragment of remnant native bushland.
Hike Overview
Meeting 8 30am for 8.45am start
Distance: ~14 km up and back, combined with Baldry circuit loop at the end
Duration: 3.5 -4 hours.
Difficulty: Grade 3 (Moderate) – mostly undulating and clear, though featuring uneven ground, exposed roots, and occasional muddy sections.
Trail Markers: Marked with the signature Blue Wren icon along the path.
Key Highlights
Ancient Grasss trees hundreds of years old.
Transitions between tall eucalypt forest, dense Coast Banksia groves, and lush, shady fern-lined gullies.
Abundant Wildlife: Frequent sightings of Eastern Grey Kangaroos, swamp wallabies, echidnas, and native birds like honeyeaters, parrots, and black-shouldered kites.Main Creek & Lightwood Creek: Meandering creek crossings via timber footbridges, providing scenic picnic spots and shaded resting points.
Essential Practical Tips
Water: No treated drinking water is available along the track—bring at least 2 litres per person.
Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or trail runners are recommended due to uneven surfaces and damp creek gullies.
