Red Brook scramble onto Kinder from Hayfield

Details
This walk of approximately 10 miles is a challenging route taking you up to the highest point in the Peak District via a fun scramble to the top.
We will set off from Hayfield, at the Bowden Bridge Car Park, no later than 0930 - parking in Hayfield is a challenge and this timing should allow enough time to include KINDER Low trig point as well.
Once we have gained some height heading towards Kinder Scout, we will follow a lovely off-route path by the River Kinder, past the Mermaid's Pool turn-off to our fun scramble onto the Kinder Plateau via the Red Brook.
If time and weather allow, we will head over to Kinder Low and then back along the Pennine Way past Kinder Downfall and returning to Hayfield via William Clough and Kinder Reservoir.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
Please take LOTS of pictures and upload them to this Meetup page so everyone can see how much fun you had.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be put on a lead near to livestock and should not bark or jump up incessantly.
Lift sharing is strongly encouraged, just leave a message below if offering or asking for a lift.
We do not wait for latecomers!
Meet: Arrive by 0915 for prompt 0930 start.
Distance: 10 miles approx.
