A weekend of hiking and socialising based at Skirfare Barn Bunkhouse in Yorkshire.

Surrounded by the beautiful limestone scenery of Upper Wharfedale, this picturesque traditional stone barn sleeps up to 20 people in 5 bedrooms.

The bedrooms consist of two twin bedded rooms sleeping four, two bunk rooms sleeping four each and the feature bedroom with beamed ceiling sleeping eight in bunk beds.

Located midway between bustling, vibrant Grassington, and the charming riverside village of Kettlewell, the Barn provides the perfect base for exploring the many delights of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Tennants Arms Hotel and restaurant is only a 10 minute walk away and provides local real ales and excellent bar meals.

After checking in on Friday, we will go to the pub for a meal for those who want to, otherwise your welcome to self cater in the kitchen.

On Saturday and Sunday there will be walks arranged from the hostel. TBA.

On Saturday night, it's Chinese New Year, so I will be cooking a Chinese themed 3-course meal with a vegetarian option. Approximately £10 extra. TBA.

There will be a Chinese themed fancy dress with a prize for best dressed.

Also, a Chinese themed quiz with a prize for the winning team.

Followed by entertainment, singing, and dancing.

The cost for accommodation will be £30 per person per night.

Total £60 for the weekend.

Maximum of 20 people on a first come, first service basis.

There's plenty of other accommodation available locally if you prefer to book your own accommodation and join us just for the walks.

It's half price for campers, caravaners, motorhomers, and campervaners. This allows you to join the socials and meals and full use of the hostel facilities, kitchen, showers, toilets, etc.
