Come on out for a new topic each week. Meet Amie, smile, laugh, chat, and enjoy the ambiance of this warm coffee shop together. This week's topic is: Risk.
Here are the questions we will be discussing:

  • What’s a small risk you’ve taken recently (not life-changing, but something that still made your heart beat a little faster) like saying something honest, trying something new, or reaching out?
  • In games (and in life), when do you play it safe, and when do you go all in?
  • Have you noticed how your choices shift depending on whether you feel ahead or behind? What do you pay attention to: your own hand, or the way others hold theirs?
  • Sometimes, staying safe has its own cost: missed chances, quiet regrets, or doors that close on their own.
  • Can you think of a time you didn’t take a risk, and later realized the real danger wasn’t in trying, but in staying still?
  • Have you ever downplayed a relationship, a moment, or a choice because it felt small or brief, but realized later how much it shaped you?
  • Can you share a time when the real reward wasn’t winning or getting it right, but it was worth just showing up, being brave, or being honest?

Join us in this safe, inclusive, casual, and accepting environment where dialogue is encouraged over debate as each person has opportunity to share from their own diverse perspectives and experiences.

Folks in this group enjoy going beyond small talk, reflecting both inward and outward, helping build pathways for more peace and understanding in the world... and your voice matters!

No particular set of beliefs (or creed) is required to be a part of this community-building activity. Diverse perspectives are welcome.

Whether to discover yourself amidst a community on a common journey or to find meaning among new friends, there is room at the table for you.
