As per the details presented for Fight Club, the most popular movie of the list voted upon was Everything Everywhere All at Once with two thirds of those who voted wishing to see it.

The movie is available to be streamed for free on Stan and rented for $2.99 on Apple+, Prime Video, Google Play and YouTube.

Given how cheap it is to rent, I haven’t put a link to a naughty copy this time as I’d like us do the right thing when it's reasonable to do so. This said, if you’re unable to rent the movie for some valid reason, please send me a message and I’ll send you a link on the quiet. 🤫

Ratings

Again, I ask that you refrain from looking at Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB scores before watching the film so as not to be biased by them.

The group’s score together with these two scores will be posted in the discussion section of the event the day after the meeting. For new members who won’t know, I’m very curious to see whether we as film lovers rate movies more generously or harsher than the masses.

Duration

I’ll be getting there at 6:00pm to sort out my food and drink and welcome everyone who wishes to do the same. We’ll look to start discussions on the movie at around 6:30pm and rate it out of 10 at around 8:30pm to put a formal end to the chat.

Two hours to discuss one movie is probably way too long but we’ll know after the Opening Night event and I’ll amend this accordingly. Until such time, this at least gives us some structure to work with.

We’ll have the room to 9:00pm and the venue closes at 1:00am so there'll be plenty of time to continue socialising after the event for those who wish to. As I did for both of the Premier events, I'll be staying so long as there's conversation to be had, after which I'll start my nightshift as Batman.

Final Words

After the fun had at both the Premier events, I really looking forward to breaking down EEAAO with everyone. More so, I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting those who I haven’t already. 👋
