Be respectful of your's and other dogs’ boundaries, read their body language. A wagging tail doesn’t always mean the dog is friendly and happy. Don’t force a dog with another dog. Check for signs of escalation or discomfort.

The first minutes of an in person event will start with dogs acclimating to the new situation. (A protocol will be in place for challenging dogs : reactive, anxious, nervous to give them space to get into their comfort zone).

We only accept use of harness, flat collar, leash and long line, basket muzzle if necessary, (crates for some events will be required).

Practically, all our in person events will require your dog to be on a lead for the safety of all. The ones that are not will be specified OFF LEASH outings or there may be an option to have time off leash away from the rest of the group in specified areas.

No e-collar, shock collar, prong collar and other device that may cause discomfort to the dog.

Reward-based only, no shouting or bullying (re: people and dogs) will be tolerated, depending on the seriousness of the behaviour, you may be expelled from the group.
We want a safe positive environment for all, dogs and people.
Be considerate of others, dogs, people, flora and fauna we may encounter.

We ask for responsible waste disposal in bins provided or carried until able to dispose properly not to contaminate the water and natural areas we will be visiting.
