Saturday Night Volleyball – 2024 Series

2.5 hours of social activity, only $7 per player.

All you need to bring is yourself and a positive attitude! So come down and participate. RSVP essential.

Starts at 9pm sharp. Please be on time as the security door is on a timer.

It will be best suited to players of intermediate level and above (NOT suitable for beginners).

For providing equal opportunity to participate in our volleyball events, NO guests are allowed.

We will form three balanced teams, with one extra player for each team as the rotation. The sets will be played up to 15 points. Kings/Queens of the court stay on, with a maximum of 2 consecutive victories before retiring to allow the 2 other teams to play. i.e., the winning team plays a second game, and if they win again, they retire champions and sit out the next game.

This is a non-profit community activity, so we would appreciate those who have committed in the going list to turn up as we count on your contribution. Change your RSVP if you can no longer make it so that someone on the waiting list can take your spot.

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy. So swearing, threats or any act of violence will NOT be tolerated. Anyone giving verbal abuse to members will be asked to leave the event immediately.

Please be advised: "No show up players and very late cancellation would be restricted on their next RSVP."

We welcome all levels, from beginners to experienced, working together to create fun, interactive games with lots of exciting rallys 🤝 Please be willing to assist with carrying the gear, setting up, packing away and scoring occasionally or your spot will be given to someone who does!

Look for the blue nets. A 'gold coin' online donation to play, 100% goes back to the players (Meetup fees, equipment, ice packs, sunscreen etc..) to keep the events going.

During games, there will be lots of laughter, music to keep your swag going, a place to unwind after a long week and to enjoy everything volleyball. We do our best to keep teams fairly even in skill level and encourage experienced players to assist the beginners and beginners to be open to instruction. We also ask that beginners will watch videos to better understand the game and be ready for a fun time. Warm up before play is recommended and PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The event is all about social, respecting each individual and having fun under the sun. So if need be put on that sunscreen, and bring that water bottle. Wear the sports gear and bring lots of energy and that winning smile. Ready, steady, game on! 😄
