Iron Mountain | Springbrook - Lake Oswego

DESCRIPTION: Let’s meet at Iron Mountain Park for a healthy mix of trail, some steep short switchbacks, roads through serene suburbia, and Springbrook Park trails. Continue the loop near the Hunt Club (equestrian facility) back to Iron Mountain Park.

DISTANCE: About 5 miles

NOTE: Thank you in advance for changing your RSVP from "Going" to "Not Going" if your plans change.

PARKING: In the lot at Iron Mountain Park trailhead. If the parking lot is full, park along the road near the park, or proceed toward Upper Drive past the roundabout and park along Upper Drive, or in the nearby Lake Oswego Hunt Club (equestrian center).

MEET AT: Iron Mountain Park, 2401 Iron Mountain Road, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For best GPS instructions, use the actual address of the park which is 2401 Iron Mountain Road.

LAUNCH TIME: 9:30 A.M.

FITNESS LEVEL: Expect a moderate pace for this walk consisting of both chip and gravel trails, a few steep swichbacks and pretty quiet residential sidewalks.

ATTIRE: Bring your water, sunscreen, layers and adventurous spirit.
