Book club: Dying for Chocolate by Dianne Mott Davidson
Details
Sorry for delayed posting! After having fun discussing entertaining who-done-its, we decided on Dying for Chocolate, the second book in the Goldy Schulz series, by Dianne Mott. I think it will be a very entertaining read for our group.
Dying for Chocolate is the second book in Diane Mott Davidson's Goldy Schulz Culinary Mysteries series, published in 1992, featuring caterer Goldy Bear who investigates the suspicious death of her boyfriend, a local psychiatrist, after he dies in a car crash, uncovering dangerous secrets while juggling her catering business and a new romance. The novel blends culinary themes with a cozy mystery, following Goldy as she uses her skills to solve the case, which involves her abusive ex-husband and a wealthy country club setting.
This book actually got mixed reviews so could be a lively discussion
Happy reading
