What we’re about
Join Preston Rambles for walks in Lancashire - fresh air, exercise, lovely countryside - what more could you ask for? We organize walks on a monthly basis. We arrange walks on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month and are usually between 5 and 7 miles. None members are welcome to come along and join in our walks.
If you attend more than 3 walks then it is expected that you become a member of the ramblers.
All our walks are led by experienced walk leaders and are usually graded into 3 types:
Leisurely - Normally a gentle walk with few hills and styles
Moderate - Some climbs with long accent or decent, could also be graded on the length of the walk.
Strenuous - Steep accent or decent, longer distances or open moor land.
Contact our Membership Secretary at gms@Prestonra.co.uk or visit our website at https://www.ramblers.org.uk/preston for assistance in joining the group as a member.

Preston Contract Bridge Club is running a 12 week accelerated teaching programme again, starting 1pm Thursday 30th October. If you want a reminder/refresher of all the basics, then this will hopefully fit the bill. Just turn up at the bridge club about 12:50pm on Thursday 30th October but please let me know by email, as the course will only run if we have at least 4 delegates.
Also, the club very much needs new members so please will you pass on this email to 2 or 3 of your friends who you think might enjoy playing bridge.
