Making the most of the recent rains lets head off to see Mason Falls in full flow!
This 15-km loop trail near Kinglake is generally considered as a moderately challenging route and takes about 4.5 hours to complete.

We will start at the Blackwood Picnic ground at the entrance of the Mason Falls Rd and head up towards Mt Sugarloaf before heading down towards Arthur' creek and then the long climb up to the Mason falls lookout.

After a quick break here , we will stop to see some of the smaller water falls along the creek before heading up the Boundary track back to the cars.
The track can be a little wet in places and 60% of the walk will be either going down or up hills which are not that steep but are long. So please make sure you have the right footwear.
