Starting from the historic town of Creswick, this picturesque 19km loop is a reasonably easy hike with no major climbs.

The trail takes us through the lush Creswick Pine Plantation (the land of a million Christmas trees), a beautiful oak plantation, and vibrant native gum forests.
Along the way, we’ll circle two scenic bodies of water—St Georges Lake and Cosgrave Reservoir—both brimming with local birdlife.

Small sections of the path are shared with mountain bikes, and while it's generally an easy walk, expect a bit of an adventure with narrow single-tracks and a quick spot of bushbashing.

After winding back through Creswick's historic township, we’ll wrap up the day with an optional late lunch at the local hotel.
