ProductTank provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Sydney to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited about product management.

Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two. We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground. We’re back with another ProductTank Sydney event and this time we’re heading to Lorikeet HQ! 🎉 🚀

Lorikeet is a platform that ambitious, CX-obsessed businesses use to deliver a universal concierge experience for their customers: 24/7 support, through the channel of their choice that resolves real problems rather than repeating FAQ articles. This is achieved through thoughtful product development, with every part of the Lorikeet team contributing to shared product thinking.

This panel brings together teammates from across functions, from product engineering to forward-deployed teams, to share how the Lorikeet team approaches building great products together. They will discuss what has worked, what has been challenging and what they are still learning.

JJ Refling - Head of Post Sales
Formerly Sr. Director of BizOps & Partnerships at Rainforest and held strategy and product roles at Stripe, Meta and Google, scaling products like Stripe Connect and Google Local Services Ads. JJ was the first US team member at Lorikeet and has worked with and won over some of Lorikeet’s most critical customers.
Rona Wang - Software Engineer
Previously Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead for Google Maps Directions on iOS, with over three years at Google developing large-scale mobile features.
Nat Fernelius - Forward Deployed Engineer
Previously an AI engineer on the EY Tax, Technology, and Transformation Alwin team. As the expansion of Generative AI has fundamentally transformed so much of the working world, Nat has been at the forefront of developing focused Generative AI solutions that solve real business problems. A talented Python developer and software engineer first and foremost, Nat’s commitment to software development best practices and machine learning/statistical fundamentals makes her a particular asset in developing scalable, effective GenAI solutions.
Andrew Vickers - Forward Deployed Product Manager
Previously Senior Product Manager at Koru and DataBraid and part of the product team at Wealthsimple where he helped scale innovative fintech solutions.
