Mermaid Pools is a beautiful natural water hole on the Bargo River at the start of Tahmoor Gorge, only 75 minutes south-west of Sydney.
We will meet at starting point at parking area next to the Rockford Road Bridge at 8:00am.

Plan is to do Mermaid Pools to Tahmoor Gorge Circuit Track. It will take around 4hr - so pretty easy day, we can really take our time and explore around. It had good variety of terrain from easy to more difficult part and offers some stunning views. Optional swimming if you like.

What to bring: hiking shoes / boot. Comfortable clothing - check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Food for the day and 2-3l of water. If you would like to go for a swim - swimmers and towell. Personal first aid kit.
Fee $25 per person / or $20 early bird pricing if you book by Thursday. It covers some of our expenses with running this meetup group. RSVP only if you're serious about coming. No refunds unless the event is canceled or rescheduled by Project Fit Trekker.
We can offer a lift to one or two people if you keen to share petrol cost, pick up from Central on Sunday morning.
