Psychedelic Yoga is a collection of practices—drawn from diverse forms of yoga and yoga-adjacent traditions—curated and designed specifically for psychedelic experience. The goal is to optimize intentional psychedelic work: extending healing results, unblocking creative flow, and supporting spiritual progress.

We draw from the vast universe of yogic methods (including esoteric forms like Tibetan Dream Yoga) and adapt them specifically to suit the psychedelic context—set and setting, dose, specific substance, personal experience and goals. A famous dream yoga master once said that any practice performed in the dream state is nine times as effective. Modern science calls this "neuroplasticity." Psychedelic Yoga meets that heightened potential with powerful, time-honored practices.

In this workshop, we'll practice together (live on Zoom) sample methods in the three domains of body, breath, and mind. You'll leave with practices you can apply in three ways: to prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences; during the journey itself; and to induce non-ordinary states of consciousness without substances—for the same healing purposes.

I'm excited to welcome Rob Matthews as co-presenter. Rob is the founder of Pala Medicine, a ketamine clinic in Los Angeles, and a board member of the Psychedelic Yoga Research Collective. He's launching Soma Psychedelic Yoga on the West Coast—a community dedicated to the same systematic approach to body, breath, and mind in the psychedelic context. This workshop marks the beginning of our collaboration to bring PY to both coasts.

Whether you're new to this work or have years of experience with yoga and/or psychedelics, this introduction offers a practical entry point and plenty of inspiration to go deeper.
