    Hello Perth Pythonistas,

This month we'll be hosting two speakers, Jason Seel and Ben Fitzhardinge. Food and drinks will be provided.

[TALK 1] “A beginners guide to advanced python: type hints” by Ben Fitzhardinge

A not-so-deep dive into how Python does variables and types. How Python type hints work, mutable and immutable types, and the difference between static, dynamic, and duck typing.

[TALK 2] “Productionising Data Science at Horizon Digital” by Jason Seel

Discover the fascinating journey of productionising data science as we delve into how we transformed an AI model from a Python script that could only be run locally (and not repeatedly) into a scalable commercial application. The presentation will touch on the technical requirements and how we matched these to real world use cases to build a successful product.
