We're a writing group that meets on Saturday afternoons. We mostly feature speculative fiction, but all genres are welcome. Writers and listeners of all interest levels are welcome to come share and receive feedback on each others' work. We require the following from attendees:

Kindness: Try to be encouraging to your fellow writers. Some of us write as a career, others a hobby, please don't discourage others from practicing or improving their craft.

Professionalism: Stick to the rules of presentation and feedback for the group. They are there to protect both our time and our feelings.
Rules and Format:

Three pre-determined readers present for 15 minutes each. After each piece, each attendee is allowed 1.5 minutes of structured feedback, followed by open discussion for 6 minutes.

Suggested feedback format:
At least one thing you liked
At least one thing you would change
A question for the reader.

Open discussion should be focused on answering any questions the writer may have for the group.
