The Alang-Madang-Kulang trek, or AMK, is celebrated as one of the most exciting and demanding treks in the Sahyadri mountain range. Spanning over two days, the trek involves climbing three majestic mountains: Alangad, Madangad, and Kulangad. Each mountain presents its own challenges and rewards, ensuring trekkers experience a diverse range of activities. The combination of climbing, rappelling, and traversing creates an unforgettable adventure that tests both physical and mental limits.

Along the route, trekkers will find caves nestled within the peaks, offering unique accommodations for overnight stays. These caves provide not only shelter but also a sense of adventure, with potable water cisterns available to meet hydration needs during the trek. Camping in these caves, under a starry sky and amidst the sounds of nature, adds a magical touch to the overall trekking experience.

We have been organizing this trek for the past few years, with over 100 trekkers providing us with excellent feedback and reviews. Safety is paramount during this thrilling expedition. Every participant will be equipped with essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), crucial for navigating various challenging sections of the trek. **Itinerary**
**Day 1:**

* Reporting time at Kasara - 01:15 AM (Board into CSMT - Kasara Fast local train in Central line scheduled at 10:47 PM from CSMT on Friday)
* Road journey from Kasara to Samrad by hired vehicle - 3 hours.
* Fresh up & breakfast - 1hour.
* Event Briefing - 20 minutes.
* Reach the Starting point of the trek near Ghatghar dam by hired vehicle from Samrad - 15 minutes.
* Ascend trek to Alangad - 5 hours.
* Lunch Break in the cave - 1 hour.
* Explore Alangad - 1 hour.
* Descend Alangad base towards the Ambewadi side. (Involves Rappelling)
* Ascend trek to Madangad. (Involves rock climbing)
* Relax in the cave.
* Dinner break - 1 hour.
* Rest in the cave.

**Day 2:**

* Wake-up call - 5:30 AM.
* Fresh up & breakfast - 1 hour.
* Descend Madangad (Involves Rappelling) & ascend Kulangad - 5 hours.
* Explore Kulangad - 1 hour.
* Lunch Break - 1 hour
* Descend towards Kurungwadi - 4 hours.
* Private vehicle journey from Kurungwadi to Kasara - 1 hour.
