Shipnur Peak trek

Trek to Shipnur peak near Ghatghar hydro dam adjoining Thane & Ahmednagar districts. The trail passes through the dense cover with gradual ascent and involves basic rock climbing to reach the summit. Technical assistance will be provided during rock climbing, The place will be very windy hence proper protective winter gear is a must! Ramblers have explored this place last year Republic Day. This peak often catches the attention of trekkers when you are at AMK, Kalsubai, Ratangad or Sandhan valley. Grade: Easy, Endurance: Moderate, Distance: 8 k.m., Highest Elevation: 1070m, basic rock climbing. Itinerary: Reporting time at Kasara 3:00 AM (Take 12:15 AM CSMT - Kasara local fast train) Travel to base village in a hired vehicle - 2 1/2 hours Fresh up and breakfast - 1 hour. Ascent trek to Shipnur peak - 3 hours. Descent trek to base village - 2 hours. Lunch break - 1 hour. Return Journey to Kasara railway station - 2 1/2 hours. Sandhan valley trek with camping

Sandhan Valley is one of the unique beautiful treks in our country that has a 4 km long stretch of crevice, The trail is descent trek from the starting point through rocks, involves water crossing through more than 3 feet of chilling water and three rappelling patches of varying heights to reach the base. Do not miss this adrenaline trek if you are true thrill seeker and to experience the uniqueness of the trek. We will be camping on the first day in the outskirts of the samrad village situated at an alhas got a landscape picturesque surrounded by the well known peaks in Maharashtra. Highlights: Camping at Samrad Water crossing in the valley. Rappelling in the valley. Trek Stats Grade: Medium, Endurance: High, Trek Distance: 10 k.m. Kalsubai Offbeat trek

An offbeat high endurance trek to the highest peak of Maharashtra, Kalsubai peak. This complete trek is through the least explored trail that traverses through the ridges, dense cover, ledges . We start the trek in early morning hours from udadawane village passing through the mountains to reach Kalsubai summit by late morning hours, rest for awhile and descend towards Indore village, trailing through ridge, stone carved steps and the jungle near the base village. Note: Indore pronounced as Indorae in Marathi is a village in Dindori taluk, Nasik Dist, Maharashtra. In the internet/ google maps udadawane is mentioned as udawane at most of the listings, not to get confused as both are same. This trek is highly suitable for regular trekkers or someone who is physically active in fitness activities. Grade:Moderate, Endurance: Moderate, Highest Elevation: 5400 feet, Total trek distance: 15 k.m. approx. Itinerary: • Reporting time at Kasara 03:00 AM (Take 12:15 A.M. Rajgad to Torna trek with camping

Rajgad Fort

A two day trek to 2 of the most prestigious forts in the history of Maratha Kingdom: Rajgad to Torna trek with camping. Rajgad, the royal fort of Maharashtra was the first capital of the Maratha Empire during the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which he moved the capital to Raigad Fort. The diameter of the fort at the base is 40 km making it difficult for anybody to lay siege to it, adding to its strategic value. Highest Elevation: 1374m, Grade: Moderate. Torna is one of the highest hill forts in Maharasthra & moderately tough to climb. The original name of the fort was Prachandagad which translates to the ‘Massive Fort’ was built in 13th century. The new name was given by Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja after conquering it in 1643. Highest Elevation: 1405m, Grade: Moderate. Trek Stats Endurance: Moderate, Total trek distance: 30k.m. approx. Highlights: • Historical forts of Maharashtra. • View of the fascinating points of Rajgad to Torna trail. • Camping in tents at Rajgad. Itinerary: DAY 1: Bus journey from Dadar East at 11:00PM with pickup points at Chembur, Vashi, Panvel/ Pune. DAY2: Reach base village by 05:30AM. Freshup & Breakfast - 45 min.
