Avenues Open Studio Tour

This is a wonderful annual event in the SLC arts community - when artists in the Avenues neighborhood open their studios to the public. Although some are commercial art spaces, most of the participating artists have their studios in their homes, which makes this a very intimate and special way to get a glimpse into the lives and creative processes of working artists in our city! You may also find a unique piece of artwork to buy.

You can find details here. The organizers usually post a map of the various open studios a couple of weeks before the event. I will try to post it here too, so you can download it to your phone if you wish.

Meet outside on the patio at Publik Coffee (502 3rd Avenue) anytime between 3:30 and 4:15 for refreshments and pre-tour conversation. We'll leave around 4:20 to start visiting the studios in the area. Stay as long as you like (it goes until 7pm), or peel off from the group early.
