Coffee House Ride - House of Bread

Details

Start: Village Shopping Center
Ride Leader: Tim Sullivan
DESCRIPTION: The ride this week is a repeat, and about edible choices! Starting from the Village Shopping Center, home to several eateries and a CVS store, we will head west for a pretty easy tour of the backroads off Mayberry Drive and return through some trails you probably didn't know existed. Once we're back, the House of Bread, now sporting a cafe and nice outside tables is our main stop for goodies. The consensus of most attendees is that the better espresso/coffee fix is a walk across the parking lot at The Roost, a local drive-by kiosk for many years. If you prefer your caffeine boost in the form of tea, 1,2 Tea is right across the pavement. Feel like a cupcake instead, check out Mix.
RIDE SERIES DESCRIPTION: The Pedaler Coffee House Rides are designed for those who want a relatively easy, social ride, with the main goal of hanging out for good pastry and espresso after the ride. Most would be rated D/C and are fairly easy. We will depart from a different coffee house or bakery each time. Start times will vary as it warms up, and we'll go earlier. Bad weather (rain, snow, smoke from fires) will cause a cancellation. Although anyone can attend most of these rides, ONLY official Pedaler members can attend breakfast rides! One of the perks of real membership.
NOTES: Check posting 2 hours before ride time for weather-related and other changes. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not allowed.
Ride starting locations and start times vary, but details will be published on Meetup the weekend before the ride.
Please RSVP only if you ARE attending, DO NOT RSVP if you are not attending.
