Careers in the time of COVID
Details
Six months into the COVID19 pandemic and we have all weathered major changes in how and where we work. Some of us have learned to do our jobs remotely and others have made major career transitions as some career doors close and others open.
In this event, we will talk with a panel of Sydney-based #rladies about the changes that they have made in their careers in 2020. We will pick their brains about the move from academia to industry and from big corporate to small corporate. We will get their perspectives on working remotely, negotiating the job market in a pandemic, and what it is like to start a new job without ever meeting anyone in person.
