LET THE FIREWORKS BEGIN!!!! Come early and enjoy your dinner and dancing together on the lawn to be followed by the start of the seasonal celebrations!

There will be limited food vendors.

BRING A LAWN CHAIR OR TWO, light snacks to share and a few folding tables may also come in handy. I have one small one.

Meet at 5:30 on the lawn to the left of the Inn(if facing the inn) feature photo taken by Martine from a past event.

Bring sun protection, beach umbrellas, BUGSPRAY, WATER, Bubbles, frisbees, games, cameras of course and flashlights may come in handy for the end of the night.

Gift shop should be open until 7 so bring cash and credit cards.

(DJ starts at approx. 5:30) get ready to boogie! Possible walk over the Bridge or to the Ft. Montgomery Historic Site if it's not too hot. The Carousel should be running for Kids of all ages, for a small fee.

There is a $10.00 PARKING FEE PER CAR, unless you have an empire pass. Seniors over 62 with NY state drivers license are free WEEKDAYS. Holidays and weekends seniors pay.

 from the Palisades Interstate Parkway (North or South) Get off at exit 19 (Bear Mountain State Park) and take Seven Lakes Drive for 3 1⁄2 miles to the Bear Mountain Circle. At the circle, take the second right. Follow signs for the parking lots. ** IF YOU MISS EXIT 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At this circle, make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill.

 from the North via I-87 (New York Thruway) Take I-87 south to Exit 16 (Harriman). At traffic light, turn left onto Route 32. At third light, turn left onto Route 6 east. Take Route 6 east to the Queensboro Traffic Circle. At circle, make the third right onto Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Take Exit 19 (Bear Mountain State Park) and take Seven Lakes Drive for 31⁄2 miles to the Bear Mountain Circle. At the circle, take the second right. Follow signs for the parking lots. ** IF YOU MISS EXIT 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At this circle, make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill.

 from the North via Route 9W Take 9W south to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At the circle, take the second right to Route 9W south. At the first traffic light, bear right and go up hill.

 From the East/South via I-87/287 (New York Thruway)Cross the Tappan Zee Bridge. Go north/west to Exit 13N (Palisades Interstate Parkway north). Get off at exit 19 (Bear Mountain State Park) and take Seven Lakes Drive for 3 1⁄2 miles to the Bear Mountain Circle. At the circle, take the second right. Follow signs for the parking lots. ** IF YOU MISS EXIT 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At this circle, make the first rightonto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill.

From the East via I-84 Take I-84 west to the second exit after the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge (RT. 9W south). Take Rt. 9W south about 18 miles to the Bear Mt. Bridge Circle. At the circle take the second right to Route 9W south. At the first traffic light, bear right and go up the hill.

 From NYC via the Palisades Interstate Pkwy. Take the upper level of the GW Bridge. Take the very first right onto the Palisades Interstate Pkwy. north. Go about 42 miles and get off at Exit 19 (Bear Mt.State Park) and take Seven Lakes Dr. for 3 1⁄2 miles to the Bear Mt. Circle. At the circle, take the 2nd right. Follow signs for the parking lots. ** IF YOU MISS EXIT 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mt.Bridge Circle. At the circle make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill.

 From the South via Garden State Pkwy. Take the Garden State Pkwy north to the last exit (I-87/287, New York Thruway). Go east/south on I-87 to Exit 13N (Palisades Interstate Pkwy north). Go about 19 miles and get off at exit 19 (Bear Mt. State Park) and take Seven Lakes Dr. for 3 1⁄2 miles to the Bear Mt. Circle. At the circle, take the 2nd right.  From the West
Rt 17 or I-84 Take Rt 17 east to Exit 130A (Bear Mt.) to Rt. 6/Long Mountain Pkwy. Take Rt. 6 east to the Long Mountain Traffic Circle. At the circle, make the 3rd right onto the Palisades Pkwy north. Take exit 19 (Bear Mt. State Park) & take Seven Lakes Dr. for 3 1⁄2 miles to the Bear Mt. Circle. At the circle, take the 2nd right. Follow signs for the parking lots. ** IF YOU MISS EXIT 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mt.Bridge Circle. At the circle make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill.

Summertime is back and it's time to celebrate with some of the best fireworks in the county!!! Come listen and dance to the funky sounds of "Epic Soul" all overlooking the beautiful Hudson River!

We may also take a scenic walk if it is not too hot at 6:30 around the park along the Hudson River and around Pecks Pond so wear or bring your sneakers or supportive walking shoes or sandals.

Bring your own picnic dinner, snacks to share, blankets, chairs, Mandatory water, bug spray, sun protection, tables(to leave in car if needed) and flashlights. Don't forget the Bubbles, frisbee, Hula Hoops, kites, etc. EARPLUGS suggested if you plan to dance. :0)

If you are a resident and get there early please reserve our spot (please let me know if you can volunteer to set up table and reserve our spot) in the shade facing the stage to the left, and if not available to the right and far back by the trees and tables. (If not possible we will move to our old spot in front of the tennis courts) Fireworks usually go off on the South end of the park so it is best to be sitting further away from that area to avoid the ash, etc.. LOOK FOR MEETUP SIGNS.

ROLLING COOLERS, OR KNAPSACKS ADVISED, SINCE YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT A 10-15 MINUTE WALK TO THE PARK. (shuttle buses are available too)if the lots in the park are not full you may be able to park in Bowline Point park nearer the picnic area. Refreshments will also be available to purchase and restrooms are provided. I WILL MEET YOU INSIDE THE PARK.

The park is located on the Hudson, 8/10ths of a mile down Bowline Plant Rd., behind Bowline Industries Power Plant off Beach Rd./ Samsondale Rd.. There will be shuttle buses from the parking areas or it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the lot on your left after passing the W.Hav. Municipal bldg on your left and by the basketball courts.

DISREGARD SIGNS YOU MAY SEE ABOUT NON RESIDENTS AS THAT ONLY PERTAINS TO USE OF THE POOL AND OTHER HOURS.

DIRECTIONS:Coming from RT 202 EAST(RAMAPO RD), PASS SHOPRITE ON YOUR LEFT, FORK LEFT AT GURNEE, TOWARD 9W NORTH. GO STRAIGHT THRU TRAFFIC LIGHT, AT 9W, CONTINUE ON GURNEE THRU A TUNNEL UNTIL THE END. TURN LEFT ON WESTSIDE AVE. TO THE BEND. TURN LEFT ON SAMSONDALE AVE. AND TURN RT. AT 140 BOWLINE Plant Rd. TO GET TO PARK.

COMING FROM 9W NORTH, TURN RIGHT AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AT GURNEE AND FOLLOW PREVIOUS DIRECTIONS FROM THERE. FROM 9W SOUTH, PASS THE SAMSONDALE PLAZA ON YOUR RT., TURN LEFT AT GURNEE AND FOLLOW PREVIOUS DIRECTIONS TO THE PARK.

ANOTHER OPTION, FROM 9W NORTH, PASS THE SAMSONDALE SHOPPING CENTER ON YOUR LEFT, TURN RT AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, AT EAST RAILROAD AVE.(94E), THAN TAKE YOUR FIRST RIGHT, AT THE STOP SIGN(BEFORE THE RAILROAD TRACKS), ONTO SAMSONDALE AVE., PASS AVE. DELI, BOWLINE WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT. COMING FROM 9W SOUTH, TURN LEFT AT THE LIGHT, ONTO E. RAILROAD AVE., AND FOLLOW PREVIOUS DIRECTIONS.

CARPOOLING FROM THE CVS PARKING LOT, a 5 minute ride, LOCATED IN THE SHOP RITE SHOPPING CENTER ON RT 202(56 W.RAMAPO RD.)GARVNERVILLE is an option. Post if you are interested in carpooling, leave contact info and make your arrangements accordingly.

They will also be running bus shuttles throughout the night from the ball park lot to Bowline Point Park.

If you can find a parking spot you are welcome to join in the festivities!
