Where Are We Headed?
Meeting in the front of Nick’s Roasting Company, we will cut through the shopping center, and then north down Folsom Road, for about one-half a mile, to reach the start of the “Miner’s Ravine Trail”. This is a paved trail that meanders through the hills of Roseville, passing by Sculpture Park, and concluding at Sierra College Boulevard. The total length of the trail is approximately 4.5-miles and is marked every half-mile and mile. If you were to run the entire distance, leaving from the parking lot, reaching Sierra College Boulevard, and then returning back along the trail, the total distance will be close to ten miles.
This will be an out-and-back course workout. Distance and pace will be determined by the participants and their individual training plans.
Typically, someone is there at this location fifteen minutes before the listed starting time should you want to engage in some pre-workout stretching.
