Something new: Del Rey Lagoon to Burton Chace Park!!

We’ll meet where we typically do for our Sand Walks, but this time—no beach hiking. Instead, we’ll stay on paved paths as we cross the bridge over Ballona Creek, walk along the Marina del Rey Channel, wind our way through Fisherman’s Village, and cut through the boat launch parking lot to reach our destination: the festive, holiday-decorated Burton Chace Park.

After taking in views of boats and (often!) sea lions, we’ll head back to Del Rey Lagoon. From there, it’s optional food and refreshments at Mo’s Place, just a block away. You may also want to stick around for sunset at 4:48 PM. 🌅
