Hands in the Clay: A Creative Gathering
Details
Whether you have been hand-building for years or have never even pinched a piece of clay, we’d love for you to join us!
This is a casual, "no-agenda" day for our makers to gather. For our current members, it’s a perfect time to spread out, catch up on slab-work, or finally finish those coils. For those curious about joining—this is your formal invitation to come see what we’re all about!
No experience is necessary; hand-building is the most approachable way to start your journey with clay.
What to Bring
~For the Makers:
Bring your clay, hand-building tools (ribs, rollers, sponges), and any projects-in-progress.
~For the Curious:
Just bring yourself! We’ll have plenty of inspiration to share and can show you the basics of building by hand.
~For the Table:
We’re hosting a **Potluck Lunch**. Please bring a dish, side, or drink to share with the group.
What to Expect
Connection: A relaxed, tactile environment to meet local makers and neighbors.
Collaboration: A space to build, sculpt, and create alongside others.
Discovery: Learn about our group’s upcoming glazing sessions and how you can become a regular part of our creative circle.
Thinking of joining?
This is the perfect "low-pressure" day to meet the group, see our process, and get a feel for the community.
