Chickenbone Slim is an original Blues artist from San Diego CA. Chickenbone’s first CD “Gone” was nominated Best Blues Recording at the 2016 San Diego Music Awards. His second CD “The Big Beat” released 2017 reached #17 on the Living Blues Album Charts in October/November 2017 and was also nominated for Best Blues Recording. Chickenbone's newest album, "Sleeper" features 10 original songs, recorded at the famous Greaseland Studios in Campbell, CA with Christoffer "Kid" Andersen. Since he formed the band, Chickenbone has played over 1000 performances, including the San Diego Blues Fest, Adams Avenue Street Fair, O.B. Street Fair, and various festivals and club tours in California and Arizona.
